About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live fully and from a place of love and compassion for myself and others. To be authentic and true to myself. To transform the world through the cumulative effects of healthier, happier, more balanced and interconnected people.
ABOUT ME
ALL about me? I'm not sure I know the answer to this question, but I'll give it a try.
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and then moved to New York at the tender age of 18 to pursue a degree at Parsons School of Design. 2 years later, I decided to transfer to NYU, where I studied the different definitions of happiness from Greek times to the present, and how they are manifested in our lifestyle.
After a lot of soul-searching, I realized that my purpose in life is to help people be more self-aware and connected to themselves and therefore to others. I use words, meditation, breath, movement and sometimes sound to support them in releasing everything that's blocking them from feeling good in life, and creating a life that is more aligned with who they are. We all deserve to feel loved and appreciated, and I love helping people to let go of self-criticism and connect with their love for themselves.
This led me to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I got certified as a Holistic Health Counselor. I'm also a certified yoga teacher. I don't teach any classes, but I used what I learned in my work.
I'm pretty multi-faceted. I'm as likely to get into some silliness as I am to get into a deep conversation about physics, or break into dance in the middle of the street.
I don't believe in defining myself so everything about me is in flux. The only things that I intend to remain stable for the rest of my life are the following values:
Love
Sharing
Truth
Fairness
PHILOSOPHY
"“Man is not what he thinks he is, but what he thinks, he is.”- Elbert Hubbard
"Thy business is with the action alone; never with the fruits of action." - from the Bhagavad Gita
“Don't aim at success – the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself” - Viktor Frankl
“The highest reward for your working is not what you get for it but what you become by it." - Sydney Harris
‘Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you wanted.’
And lastly,
"It's good to be happy, man; It's better than being sane." - Homeless guy on the L train in Brooklyn
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently traveling, and hope to meet a lot of community members throughout the world, both at host homes and events.
Due to roommates, I am sadly not able to host very often but happy to meet people to show them around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Every single experience has been excellent. Beyond having a place to stay and locals to show me around, the best part is always getting to know interesting people and share our cultures/philosophies/insights.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survived living in NYC for 15 years. Trust me, it's a feat!
Also: sharing a home-made stew with the locals in Laos, skydiving and surfing in New Zealand, got lost and found in an 8-day silent meditation retreat in India, 100% sober ecstatic dancing in Thailand, having an Indiana Jones-style adventure in a little-known temple in Cambodia, solo moto trip in Bali, had last-minute layover lunch with a friend in Stockholm, trying to communicate across the complete language divide in Taiwan and somehow succeeding (that was fun!), making croissants in Paris and wheel-throwing pots in Montpellier, celebrating my grandmother's 90th birthday in Argentina, practice loving unconditionally, inspiring people to let go of shame and go after their dreams worldwide.
I count myself so lucky to have had all these experiences. It's incredible, and I feel utterly blessed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about nutrition, interpersonal communication, relating and relationships, meditation, somatic healing, and the science and philosophy of happiness.
I'd love to learn about YOU. Your thoughts, experiences, things that you find fascinating and the things that make you human.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A laugh. Deep thoughts. Connection. Dancing. Somatic healing. A hug.
