About Me

CURRENT MISSION

rocking out spontaneous life adventures, meeting new people, challenging my perceptions, and trying to make the world a better place along the way

ABOUT ME

Loves--laughing, early mornings, used books, nutrition, hiking, peanut butter, my family, friends, foreign films, dreaming, medieval history, learning new languages, philosophy, cooking for friends, and of course traveling :)

Dislikes--inconsiderate people, traffic jams, sour cream, warm beer

PHILOSOPHY

be open-minded, surround yourself with fun people who also challenge you, and (taking a note from Gandhi) be the change you want to see in the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just got started but I plan to take people around the ATL and to meet more people abroad. Looking forward to exchanging life stories and meeting people from all over!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. Classic Rock -- give me Doobie Brothers, CCR, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Queen

I truly think music should be a sound-track to your life. I have a special place in my heart for the Garden State Soundtrack.

I also think there is nothing better than taking a trip, going for a drive, and listening to some tunes with the windows down.

Books: Ender's Series, anything by Mark Twain, Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, The House of the Spirits

Teach, Learn, Share

As a scientist, I think I have an interesting take on health care and research. Happy to debate neuroethics. Also, since I study neuroscience, I have thought an awful lot about the brain, the mind, the soul, what makes people distinct from other animals (if anything) etc. I hope to bring a lot to the table.
