About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"To seek out new life forms and boldly go where no man has gone before."
ABOUT ME
I'm a realistic optimist and a busy-a-holic. I love being active. I enjoy traveling, reading, writing, learning, talking, listening and many other 'ing's! I am actively practicing an 'UP FOR IT' attitude. I like cooking but seldom follow a recipe. I value respect, honesty, family & friends, positivity and a good challenge. I'm into healthy and environmentally-friendly living.

I CHOOSE MY ATTITUDE
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Considering I still live with my parents, my hosting abilities are at their mercy. One day, I hope to become a full-time host.
In the meantime, I am a future-surfer! Or so I hope to be if people will take me in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am a novice surfer-er thanks to my "misadventures" in Europe last year.
Interests
My greatest interest is finding new things that stir my interest...
I am trying to develop new hobbies. I had been going full-throttle for sooo long now to try and save up enough money to do a study-abroad adventure in Austria, followed by a university Minor opportunity in Chile, that I actually don't HAVE a real "Hobby."
Some have said my obscessive dedication to exercise is a type of "hobby"...
NEW HOBBY ATTEMPTS:
I LOVE riding my road cycle everywhere (who needs 4 wheels and "Horse Power" when I could just use 2 and some "Kate Power".)
I'm trying to learn how to unicycle.
I just co-bought a dirtbike with my dad.
I'm taking any and every opportunity to work with glass and tiling.
I am a clean slate, please, help me draw!

Music, Movies, and Books
Alternative-rock for everyday, country/western when I remember my heritage, and Hit List when I am exercising or getting pumped about something.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been to Hobbitton!
I have seen the Haka performed live.
Teach, Learn, Share
A Biology teacher in highschool once told me the best way for me to study and make sure I'd learned material was to teach it to my dog, Cedar. I guess the best way to learn is to simultaneously teach.
