About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experiencing the (whole) World!

ABOUT ME

Simple guy. I was born in Israel but moved still young to Brazil because my parents are Brazilian. I lived most of my life in the north of the country, in big cities on the Amazon Forest (yes! they do have big metropolis in the rain forest).
My parents used to move a lot so I kind of lived in different parts of Brazil: Belém, Macapá, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Porto Velho.
Studied in the Air Force (Barbacena, Minas Gerais) for 3 years and then moved to São Paulo in order to get an Electronic Engineering degree. I am supposed to finish my time in college next year (December 2010). For the moment I am in Europe, far far away from my warm (and usually very hot) house in Brazil. I stayed 7 months in Munich, writing my thesis for the college and since I have only to be back on January to São Paulo, I'm still enjoying travelling over Europe. France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Spain and of course Germany are some of the countries I visited.
Yes, I know I still have a lot of cities to visit...
I stayed the whole October in Russia. I loved it! Moscow and Saint Petersburg were awesome! Now I'm in the Northern countries, visiting the Baltic and Scandinavia. Yes, it's cold already for me... ehehe
I guess that's it... Thank you so much all my friends from Brazil and the new persons I met here in Europe! You are all great!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Humm... that's a hard one... But in the same time simple: ENJOY NOW! Afterwards, present is called so because it's a gift. Tomorrow is too late to live!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now enjoying the company of the members in the most different cities and countries!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am backpacking around Europe and I'm enjoying couchsurfing in different countries with different people. I liked it so much that when I go back to Brazil I will offer my room as a hostel to lost travellers in the country!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Not so much time to watch movies now, but I liked "Tropa de Elite", "Amelie Poulin" and movies from Kubrick. Oh! Some animations are really cool, like Kung Fu Panda, eheheh.
Music: Everything! Too general? Not really, it depends on the mood... can go from Mozart to Brazilian Rock.
Books and Authors: Machado de Assis, Irvin Yalom and Sofia's World.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped in a school for people who didn't have much money in Brazil so they could get a place in a University.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be Math and Physics teacher back in Brazil. Right now I only give "lectures" on how is the life on the Amazon Forest and in my country to the persons I meet during the trips.
Of course I love to learn about the culture of the country I'm visiting. Experiencing it at the highest level: by living it!
