About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To figure out if I want to stay in the city or find a small house in the woods, by a lake and live there without television and internet…
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a few couchsurfers staying with me. It amazes me how with some people there just seems to be a natural click and within a few days it can feel as if you've been friends for years. I can only hope to meet more people like the ones I've hosted so far.
Through this website I have only hosted, not surfed. In earlier travels I have however managed to surf many couches without the help of a website. The best experience was in Berlin where people I met on the street let me and my friend stay at their (very small) appartment for two full weeks.

Music, Movies, and Books
A long list. I'll shorten it to my favourites which are:
Movie - La Cité des Enfants Perdus by Caro and Jeunet Book - The Confusions of Young Törless by Musil
Music - Nux Vomica by the Veils
Teach, Learn, Share
I always enjoy hearing people talk about their favourite authors. So bookworms, feel welcome. I can teach oriental dance, Dutch or French conversation lessons. I'd like to learn a bit of Bulgarian someday as I have friends who have art-residenties in the south of Bulgaria every year and I plan to be a regular guest. As for sharing, I love to cook and learn/teach/improvise new recipes.
