About Me

A life long learner, radical listener and explorer.

Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect place to meet all the crazy people out there and share a conversation and coffee with someone in a foreign place. The bigger the cultural barrier, the better. Let's break the walls down and break bread. :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be a part of a global, conscious community of those willing to exchange something meaningful for a place to remember.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing experience was the 5 day Salkantay Trek in the Peruvian Andes to Machu Picchu. Greatly unprepared for an alpine crossing, I was wearing breathable tennis shoes, soccer warm-up pants, and a cotton three-quarter sleeve shirt. Climbing through torrential rain at 15,000 feet, and feeling the avalanches rolling down the slopes of Salkantay from behind the clouds was unforgettable; the cold of my soaked feet and the lesson to be better prepared was also unforgettable. The hospitality shown by people living in the middle of a cloud forest, and the history of Machu Picchu are all things that I would recommend anyone to go out and experience!
