ABOUT ME

I have grown up in Thunder Bay, and am now residing here while supply teaching in the area. I really enjoy teaching and am working on perfecting my oral french abilities. I have 2 roomates in an old lovely character home on the south side of town. I am busy most evenings with various activities but would love to meet some new ppl who are traveling through.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to LOVE.....be love, show love, give love
God is love and i want to live a life full of kindness, faith, patience, grace, joy.
Children are so precious. They need to feel special and i hope to make a difference in kids lives though teaching.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfer in Europe and had a great time!
I am now living in a very big apartment with 2 roomies and would like to host when we are able to. We are busy most evenings, but try us, Last minute seems to work well sometimes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So many great couches! In France, this nice guy gave us his living room to crash in one night, having 8 other surfers in his basement! it was so cool. Then Very nice women all over europe have hosted my roomate and I. We have been able to host one french couple driving through the area, and that was quick but great to be useful!

Interessen

I love to be active!
Running, hiking, rock climbing, camping, swimming in lakes, canoeing, love to travel and meet cool ppl. I am very active and love to be outdoors. I also enjoy a good book and tea. I also am involved at Grassroots church and love God very much. I teach during the day and also volunteer at Birthright, a crisis pregnancy centre.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Love Jars of clay. Cold play, Band of owls, John mark Mcmillan, Gungor, Alexi murdoch, Coeur de pirate....really every kind of music.
Lord of the Rings is my favorite trilogy along with back to the Future.
There are too many books that i have loved to mention. The Bible is by far the BEST and it keeps getting better!
Also Rob Bells' books are all great, loved Velvet Elvis, the Lord changed my life through that book.

evangelism in Cameroun. I have seen the Lord at work in so many ways! healings, lives changed, protection from danger. He is a giver of Life, and a life to the fullest!
