About Me

CURRENT MISSION

unfolding and unleashing the potential that is within me for the betterment of the society that I live in!

ABOUT ME

I am a Maasai cultural youth leader, leading the youngest age group currently.I was appointed leader by elders in my absence and was sent for in school to participate in the initiation ceremony in 2004.This makes me a leader of the group for life.I still live in the traditional house in the village.I am sociable by any means, friendly, humorous, outspoken and very generous with ideas.Out of the village, I am a freelancer in many fields,I lecture young students on positive, good and practical cultural practices for them to be able to embrace the beautiful maasai culture and sustain it.I take friends to nature expeditions in the vast maasai country,In my capacity as a leader, I mediate between communities for peaceful co-existence in the Riftvalley province in Kenya as well as being a Social worker and a freelance journalist on Peace issues for local dailies.I believe in God and His marvelous works.I trust my potential. My greatest achievement is meeting former America's president Barrack Obama during my fellowship as a young Africa Leader (Mandela Washington Fellowship Class of 2015)

PHILOSOPHY

If you can think about it you can do it! Nothing is impossible under the sun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to make the lives of CS community members the best by giving them my full attention.I'll enjoy so much to host people from diverse cultures to be able to learn their culture while letting them learn at no cost about my Maasai culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I like traveling, meeting new people, hanging out with friends. I like camping, nature walks and roasted goat meat and being out in countryside during the full moon.
