Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfed my way around Europe in 2007 and met some amazing people. We only hosted a few people in Paris because of the size of our studio, but often met up with fellow cs'ers at home and abroad for drinks and hi-jinks. Now I am proud to say that some of my closest friends were met through couchsurfing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed all around Europe in 2007. Hosted a number of people while living in Paris and Melbourne, but mostly participate through CS community events in town now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling across the US on amtrak, when someone believed that they had seen anthrax powder in the dining car. The CDC boarded in hazmat suits and determined that the "anthrax" was actually sugar.
Riding a marshuka bus through the Ukraine one dusky Autumn evening with a bunch of Ukranian and Polish ciggerette smugglers. We drove madly across the countryside, past little farms, onion domed churches, horse drawn carts, Catholic shrines, and Soviet statues. Ukranian beats erupted from the radio and everyone ate sunflower seeds and shared shots of cherry vodka.
