About Me

CURRENT MISSION

After just returning from Thailand working as a Scuba Diving Instructor for the past 2 and a half years i am now currently at the start of my Yachting career hoping to find work on board a Super Yacht which will lead me to still be able to travel abroad, combining my love for travel and hopefully to still teach Scuba Diving.

ABOUT ME

I have been travelling for the past 5 years.
I have been to many different countries around Asia, South East Asia, Australia, Europe and Northern America. I have a passion for the outdoors, pretty much every activity there is. I love learning new things about myself, life and the way other people in the world live.
My best achievement would be cycling from Phnom Phen in Cambodia to Saigon in Vietnam with my best friend and then to carry on cycling to Hanoi in North Vietnam, all of the 1130 miles on 25 Dollar bicycles which broke a number of times over the 10 days cycling haha.
In Australia me and my best friend decided to Bicycle from Melbourne to Adelaide on ladies bicycles covering 750 miles along the great ocean road, another adventure inside of an adventure.
I did my first bungee jump off the highest in the world at Macau Tower in the South of China which felt like i was going to die as i was falling through the air with no feeling of a bungee cord attached to my ankles.
I Hitch hiked from Fernie to Vancouver, Canada some 1000 miles, just into the wild, being out there among nature was amazing.
I trekked the Great Wall of China to then at the other end of the spectrum found myself eating Tarantulas in Beijing Wanfu jing night market.

PHILOSOPHY

life is far to short. One day you could be on top of the world but the next it can all change dramatically. Live everyday as if it was your last....
LIVE CURIOUS ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would still like to meet a lot of new people from different backgrounds and see how other people see the world. I have lived in Wales all my life so i can provide pretty useful info for anyone who wants to have a wander round this part of the world.

COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE

I Hitch hiked from Fernie to Vancouver in Canada of about 1000 miles getting free beds to stay along the way, with free lifts too, met some amazing people and people i have kept in touch with since 2011 when i did this. One night i'l remember is staying with an old man, i was waiting for rides in the cold and pouring rain and he pulled up, told me to get in and he put me up for the night in his sons camper van for free, he gave me extra blankets to keep warm and then come morning he made me breakfast and then took me back down to the main road to carry on my journey of catching rides.
