About Me
CURRENT MISSION
After a couple of years in Europe, I'm going to head back home to restructure my life.
I will be going home from Greece, Singapore, Philippines and Australia. I won't have a lot of time in each country so I hope I can meet some nice locals and get a taste for life there. Sadly, my laptop and camera were stolen a week ago, so I can't share my photos with you.
I really look forward to seeing Asia for the first time and will make more memories with my phone camera :)
ABOUT ME
I enjoy good company and also spending time with our more distant animal relatives too. One of the highlights of my life was working with animals in the Bolivian rainforest. Teaching English in Peru was also a wholesome experience.
The world has a lot to offer and I'd like to experience more of it, though I also find giving my time and effort to others very satisfying.
Life's been quite a journey so far with many ups and downs. I suppose that comes with taking risks and exploration.
I used to love making films at school and I don't think I'll be satisfied until I have a go at making another movie. This time, with deeper stories to tell.
I enjoy playing guitar and piano, though I'm not especially technical. I just enjoy playing and sometimes have the inspiration to write a song.
PHILOSOPHY
Be nice to people and animals and try to be mindful and fair.
The world can get a bit hectic and messy, but almost everyone has goodness in them which manifests in some way or another.
Life is wonderful, but not without struggles.
Spending time in nature can be like hitting the refresh button. It's important to see the stars from time to time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The CS community is such a great thing to be a part of. It's where you can meet so many interesting and unique people.
I want to meet locals and travellers and have genuine experiences with real people. There are so many treasures to be found all across the world, geographically and socially.
CS makes for a richer experience of the places you visit. I think we all love to share and that's why we're here.
I look forward to hosting in future when I am settled again. I have a great passion for sharing exciting and beautiful things with other people. I was a tour guide once and always loved seeing people have a nice time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I go through phases of liking different things. I like most genres of music from Beethoven to Radiohead, ABBA to ELO. Not really into death metal or R&B but it depends on the song.
Books:
Like many my age, Harry Potter is the most reading I've done from a single author. I gravitate towards non-fiction or shorter stories but if I'm in the grip of a good novel, I won't want to put it down. I really ought to read more.
I'm interested in knowing more about Lovecraft.
Movies:
I enjoy true stories and adventure stories. Psychological thrillers, comedies, anime... a bit of everything but I was never hooked by the likes of The Avengers. Too much CGI for my tastes.
Shamelessly derive joy from my own creations on occasion.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Released coatis into the wild after tracking through the jungle with one on my back and being stung by a bullet ant on the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm keen to share! I've got more depth to me than comes across. I like to think I'm well-intentioned and warm, though shy at times.
Would love to improve my Spanish and hear others' stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Friendly company, sharing experiences, gratitude, and whatever food I have on me.
