CURRENT MISSION
sorry, but this is very cliche
ABOUT ME
I'm a student from São Paulo, Brazil, and I'm in France for an exchange program at the University of Paris. I'm studying sociology at University Paris 10 – Nanterre.
I am a girl who loves to travel and see new things. I'm always learning from my travels and cuisine and music of the place are two things I like to learn from my new friends. I love cooking for others, since sharing the flavors integrate people and a collective meal is always more exciting and even more delicious.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently traveling, but I hope to get people on my couch as soon as possible. I had a very good experience of couchsurfing and is spreading the net to friends who give my small contribution.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I know a little time couchsurfing, but now I have two very good experiences! Between December and January of 2009-2010, I traveled with two other friends from Poland and Germany and were received by two couchs very friendly: they agreed to receive three people at once, which is not very common and we had an incredible experience. We share a few days our new and different ways of life from food, to ways of seeing the world, seeing the other person and live your own city and friends. Learning that will be for a lifetime!
Interests
In our Christmas vacations (the first time that I have a contact with others couchers) we wanted to combine the possibility of traveling with the opportunity to know other cultures. To get in touch with the history of the country, the way of life, habits, art etc.
Using our sociology background, we wanted to make this trip a unique experience for our lives. For this period, we chosen only two countries – Germany and Poland – as a way to know better all the cultural aspects of each, visiting not only the main cities but also the small ones. THIS TRIP WAS AMAZING! We learned more than we expected and our couchers were really friendly!! =)
