About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, practice languages and travel as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

It is always difficult to give a description of oneself. I consider myself to be an easy going person, with good sense of humour. I am interested in the diversity of this Planet and with a strong instinct to learn about new cultures and traditions.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At present I have met wonderful people either staying with them or staying with me. All of them became friend, or very good friends. That´s my main participation in this project: making the World a more friendly place for every one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far all my experiences with CS have been really great. I just hope to get some more and to be the same or even better.
I have hosted some Couchsurfers in my house and having a very interesting time with them.

For a long time I have been sharing my house with friends and going to my friends´houses as well, in a kind of "friends CS". This idea to help others while travelling is not new for me.

Interests

Life is a constant learning experience and any new knowledge should always be welcomed.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading -time permitting-, but there are few books in particular I will mention. "The Physician" by Noah Gordon: tought me to leave behind everything and pursue what I really wanted. "O Alquimista" by Paulo Coelho: showed me that there is always a target in life. "La Sombra Del Viento" by Carlos Ruiz Zafón: a wonderful story in my city, Barcelona.
I like all kind of music, more or less. I will let you know if there is anything I don´t like.
Not very keen in all these comercial movies. I prefer cinema as an art than as a business.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was volunteer during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London 2012, and it was amazing!!!! A wonderful experience, which I will never forget and I encourage any one to do if ever they get the chance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach, share all my knowledge. I am fluent in several languages and I have got people at home who wanted to learn or improve some of the languages I know.
In my career I have been training people constantly, and I still do.
I can share experiences in travelling, housing, work, cooking, swimming, etc.
On the other hand I am receptive to learn everything. Life is a constant learning process that we should never reject.
We would be surprise to realise how much we could teach, share or learn from any one surrounding us.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully a good company! I can provide with some information about the cities to be visited, transport, etc.
If I am off I could even join you in the sightseeing.
