ABOUT ME

I'm Michiel, 21 years old, student and looking forward to discover the world.
I'm actually staying in Ghent now, where I study, but my roots lay in Izegem, a rather small town.
I study journalism, and my great dream is working as a rock journalist. I write already as a volunteer for a Rock Magazine.

A have a broad view on the world and I'm very interested to meet new people/cultures. I especially like the life in a big city: going out, food on every corner of the street, nightlife, music concerts, different (sub)cultures...

Anyway, I have many interests and am always interested in new stuffs or experiences such as traveling and meeting new people: so that's why I'm here!

It's a good way to meet new people and discover a place without always following the travel guide. And off course, for a student like me, it helps me to economise.

Learning from different cultures. Discover (pop)cultural life in many ways, different cities...
Music is my key interest. I can never be on a holiday without checking out some local concert. I like to encounter unknown types of food and drinks.
