NOT HOSTING FOR A FEW MONTHS

Steve lived 36 years near London, 25 years near Paris, 7 years in the south of France, now over 7 years in Malta and Gozo, travelled a lot but now wants the peace and quiet of small town life with no traffic jams, no pollution and no stress.
Heather lived in UK till 2004 when she moved to the south of France with Steve and from there on to Malta and Gozo.

So our latest adventure started in beautiful Malta in May 2011, then to Gozo in August 2016.
Heather is 65 and I am now 76, but don't worry about that!...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are both great believers in enriching our own lives by meeting people from all over the world, be they young or not so young.

Please note we will only host one couple or one individual per month for 2 nights only and we have found excellent surfers for this summer. That means NOT one night and NOT 3 nights or more. We are not to be used as a cheap hotel and will only accept travellers who have an interesting profile and who accept our "rules" (see the Our Home page). We have already found excellent surfers for the whole of summer 2018, so now we're taking a break...

Heather loves all types of music and is a great lover of both crime novels and films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) Science and Maths teacher in
Dacca, East Pakistan August 1966 to October 1967.
This is now Dhaka, Bangladesh.
That experience was when Steve was 23 and led to his lifelong love of travelling. Good gracious! That's over 50 years ago!!!
