CURRENT MISSION
To absorb and share knowledge
ABOUT ME
My name is Brian McCormack and I currently work as an analytical chemist performing GC/MS and LC analysis for a company that synthesizes natural and artificial botanical extracts, fragrances, and flavors. I'm really into post-rock music as well as many other genres. I also enjoy reading about quantum mechanics/physics/chemistry and the applications involved in such. I'm seeking any sort of intellectually stimulating conversation that comes along with crashing on someones couch/futon. I also play hockey and am a lifetime, diehard Blackhawks fan. I enjoy throwing the occasional round of disc golf and I love anything from Unibroue and 3Floyd's (particularly Maudite and Dark Lord). I'm also a Trailer Park boys and Simpsons fanatic.

I'm knowledgable in aspects of analytical cemistry such as chromatography and spectrometry(GC/MS and HPLC). I have also worked in a physical/theoretical lab conducting rotational spectroscopy research utilizing chirped-pulse amplification to study reaction state dynamics and examine combustion pathways of various molecular systems.
I have a small background in astronomy and cosmology but my knowledge is limited. I'd really like to meet a surfer who can share more information with me.
I also recently bought a violin and don't know what the hell I'm doing. An experienced violinist would be great to run into.
