ABOUT ME

"Merrily, merrily row your boat, gently up the stream"

I like to explore the different spectrums of life. Looking at the human condition.
Living like a hobo and not washing for 10days, the smoke on a nice big fire and the awkward silence you get after trying to speak to someone who doesn't understand you. I also have a strong interest in happiness, diverse musical genres..

I enjoy walking for long periods of time - it's always good to clear your thoughts and solve your issues.

I am fascinated by old people and feel enthusiastic about being old one day.

I also enjoy driving on shit roads with crazy music and good wine. Having a dangerous time. And also having a nice time.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a profound belief that all things stem from an internal contradiction - and have faith that all aspects of the universe, life, knowledge and so forth are governed by this rule. It's a very long story and I won't bother you with it, unless you are interested.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first experience of couch surfing I had was in Thessaloniki [Greece] where we were very kindly hosted by Michalis for 3 days.

Interests

Good living. Dangerous stuff. Talking cheese.
Driving on shit roads.

All the good things

At the moment I work for an Art dealer, specialising in 17th Century Dutch Old Masters, French Impressionists and 20th Century British artists. I have the chance of seeing the best examples of our painting heritage as part of my job and I really appreciate it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well. I've driven from France to Syria (and back) with my good friend Max, in our faithful car, "Le Bolide"

Teach, Learn, Share

The most valuable lesson I have learned so far is this:

one must get rid of expectations.

Creating expectations means increasing chances of disappointment.
The less you expect the more open you become to the possibility of enjoyment.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
