ABOUT ME
I am a recent architecture grad. I love to bike and explore new places, food, and meet good people along the way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to travel and host. Both have been great experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not much, hosted a couple times, surfed some, but am working on more
Interests
I enjoy meaningful travel, mountains, bicycles, India Pale Ale, napolitanos, live bluegrass, and Grüner Veltliner wine. I like to walk in cities if they are reasonably sized; larger cities are better seen from the seat of a bike (especially European cities). I am interested in all types of design, but am moved most by architecture.

Music, Movies, and Books
I would say Bob Dylan is the most compelling and fearless musician. I like to watch movies but only after they have been endorsed by people I enjoy, rarely more than once, unless I feel it is of a larger significance. I’ve seen No Country for Old Men 5 times. Books follow a similar thought process, but even more selective because I read slowly, and they are much more of a commitment. Ernest Hemmingway, Jonathan Safran Foer, and Kefa Sempangi have written some of my favorite books. Ayn Rand’s character development is the most complete. Peter Zumthor makes architecture a sensory experience. Octavio Paz, even after translation, has left me awed and speechless.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Developed a taste for South American beer.
