About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To strip away layers and build a pure foundation. To listen and to learn. To laugh when somber tendancies might urge me to be silent.
ABOUT ME
David and I have settled in Seoul after spending four years with a traveling drama ministry. We are so glad to be in one place, but as the love of travel is always with us, this site seems like an excellent opportunity to explore that interest. We enjoy hosting and getting to know new people, so feel free to stop by. We're Christians, but we like to think of ourselves as the groovy kind, not the frightening sort. We look forward to meeting you!
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind. Instead of talking about doing good GET OUT THERE AND DO GOOD. Act as stewards of the Earth. Listen. Above all, if you find that you have been blessed, be a blessing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I'm interested in hosting, and in someday surfing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No official experience. However, when we were with the Covenant Players (the drama ministry that I keep mentioning), we stayed in a new home/hostel/church youth room every few nights, for four years. We used to joke that we were professional guests.
Interests
I am a vegetarian. I love children's books, Shakespeare, history, and tomatoes. I take voice lessons. I've been skydiving, and someday I'd love to meet my mysterious German relatives, so if anyone out there has the last name "Grewer", let's chat!
David loves art, puzzles, reading, and soccer (though he hasn't played in a while). He says that all he wants to do is to be married to me forever (he actually said that just now!).
The two of us met when I was thirteen. We were married five years ago, and agree that marriage is the greatest adventure out there.

5. Anything Harry Potter
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. An eight year old epileptic from South China, playing on the slide for the first time in her life after missionaries worked to get her the medication that she needed to begin functioning normally.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmmm. I could help with lesson planning, audition prep, or Shakespeare explication. Also I seem to have a knack for coaching people through break-ups. David could help you with web design, animation, or drawing. He is also a pretty laid back person to have a conversation with. He frequents a debate site, and this year they named him "Most Civil Debater". I thought that was neat.
