ABOUT ME

Kia Ora from New Zealand, Aotearoa... I am sorry all you avid travllers but times are changing and I am now having to charge for accommodation in my home. This is out of neccessity and will be unable to host Couch Surfers for Free. I wish you well on your Journey. Im passionate about people and different cultures. I begin my Round the World journey on the 30 July 2010 starting in Chile. My first language is English and Ive been trying to learn un poquito Espanol. Espanol is a beautiful language and has the same vowels as Maori so my pronounciation is bueno. Im sure speaking different languages doesnt have to be a barrier to communication, it would be fun making ourselves understood! Im on a journey of the heart, willing to follow synchronistic signs to places I need to go to learn more about myself and what I have to offer others. Couch surfing will take me into a new world, a brave world of like minded travellers and new friends of different cultures.Being a positive person I love to chat and learn about other people. Its good to face a few fears otherwise Id stop 'growing'. I love dancing and would be excited to learn some Latin American dance."Friends are like stars, you cant always see them but you know they're always there" I hope to make many more friends through CS. as they say "strangers are only friends you havnt met yet".UPDATE!.........I was in South America for 3 months arrived in the UK Beginning November 2010. I visited a friend in the Czech Republic for a two weeks. Back to the UK on 4 Dec for two weeks before going back to New Zealand for a month, due to sick family member :(. Im back in the Uk London, on the 18 january to continue my journey!2 Feb ....Spent 6 days in London took the Eurostar to Paris 6 days there now Im in Barcelona for a while. 9 Feb 2011....Now in Granada...a beautiful city.Spain was great! Even got to experience Morocco for a few days before returning to London.25 Feb.....In India.25 March left India flew to Bangkok....26 Mar left for NZ for a Funeral :(17 April Back in Bangkok to continue my journey19 April Decided to cut travels short and head straight to Aussie, going to Perth first.Spent a week around Busselton area south of Perth. Spent 9 days in a Wicked Van perth/Kalgoorlie/Esperance/Busselton/PErth it was awesome! flew to Brisbane and spent 3 weeks in Byron Bay shire.4 June Boarded the P & O Pacific Dawn and surprised my son! 12 June...Back in NZ for a week23 June...Heading back to the UK for,...hmmm...not sure for how long. No more sight seeing, im doing a short course, cant wait. hopefully Ill be able to meet some more surfers! 28 July....Holland visiting friends4 August....Portugal visiting friends in Mirandela13 September.....Ballyshannon, Northern Ireland visiting with more friends 29 September....Im back from my oseas exploration!What a journey it was, an experience i will treasure for ever. Its great to be home in NZ and am looking forward to this new adventure in my life!

Movies.....The Yes Man, Slumdog Millionare, New Zealand movies are great, Ive just seen 'BOY' its an interesting insite into NZ Maori culture. Music.....depends on how I feel....HipHop/Easy listening like Cafe Del Mar/some Trance/Blues/LAtin American, I just bought Sade's new CD and love it.....
