CURRENT MISSION

To keep improving my Chinese and start learning German. I also want to get started in a career in London in the next couple of years.

ABOUT ME

I have just graduated with a degree in Chinese and am in the process of getting set with a job in London. I want to keep my Chinese going while living in London, and make a start on German too. I'm adventurous, caring, and enjoy friends. I love travelling with people, or alone. I like music, reading, swimming, seeing new places, learning languages, going on excursions, watching films, taking the world to rights over a cup of tea or coffee.

Family, friends, listening to music (and playing it when I feel so inspired), reading, watching films, Chinese, being spontaneous and getting to know people. Debating, but not fighting. Seeing the world.

I will pretty much watch any film and enjoy most that I have seen - Thrillers, Comedies, Dramas, Romances - I will give anything a try. Studio Ghibli films, Napoleon Dynamite, The Wire, Breaking Bad, recommendations welcome!
Books: The Tin Drum, Another Country, Wild Swans, The girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy....
I love the theatre and enjoy reading a watching plays.
I love music - Jazz, Classical, Some rock and pop. I love to dance, so anything with a good beat!
