ABOUT ME

I'm an artist, photographer, writer, curious person. I previously worked 5 years as a truck driver, so I've traveled quite a lot around the U.S., although it wasn't the ideal conditions to visit and get to know places most of the time. I've been considering for some time a cross country bike tour as a way of visiting the country (and maybe beyond). Personally, I'm a fairly regular, but very open-minded, person. I've been involved in activist stuff for the past four years or so in and around the Las Vegas area and am one of the founding members of Food Not Bombs Las Vegas (a group that shares healthy, vegan meals to hungry people with donations that otherwise would be thrown away) and the founder of NVCopBlock.org (a site that advocates for accountability for law enforcement officials), among other things.

At this point, I ride my bike almost exclusively, which I really enjoy. I'm also very interested in art related things, since I paint, sculpt, and do photography myself. I enjoy a lot of varied styles of music and go to live shows when I can.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've actually seen and done a lot of stuff, but off hand I'd say that having grown up during the Cold War days and then being in the military as all the walls (figurative and real) came down was an amazing opportunity to recognize that people that had been demonized as evil my whole life were actually just people like anyone else.
