ABOUT ME

I spent my youth in Sacramento, California, formative years in Denali, Alaska and most of my adult life in Arcata, California. I really like being in the forest, working with my hands, massage, plants and meeting new people!

PHILOSOPHY

It's my experience that it is those who never leave their home who live in the scariest world of all... and those who have traveled that find people and the world the most fantastic... and cable news most dramatic. Fear is a useful instinct but when misplaced, it can act as a wall... within ourselves and between people. I believe in being smart -- cautiously optimistic -- but think people are generally good and trustworthy.

Some great people have hosted me in the past and I try to return the favor. I've had a lot of fun getting to know some genuine people from France, Finland, UK, Mexico, Australia, Canada and my own native land.
