About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To create and aspire to a worthy purpose.

ABOUT ME

I love adventures. Especially spontaneous adventures. If you take me on one, we'll be quick friends, or at least let me drag you along on one :) Simply never having done something is usually enough to inspire me to do it. I love stepping out of my comfort zone. I keep my schedule packed, but I have my priorities straight and make times for those important for me.

I like big dreams, impossible dreams.

I've been told I'm too honest. I'm looking for amazing experiences, and amazing people to share them with. I value honesty, loyalty, and passion.

PHILOSOPHY

"I can live with doubt and uncertainty and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than have answers which might be wrong. I have approximate and possible beliefs and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I'm not absolutely sure of anything and many things I don't know anything about. But I don't have to know an answer, I don't feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is as far as I can tell."
- Richard Feynman (I love this man.)

"Life is phenomenal."
- Alex Ragland

"Every obstacle is destroyed through rigor."
- Leonardo da Vinci

"Excess in moderation."
- Doug Stanhope

"You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation."
- Plato

"Shit happens. Deal with it. Don't worry. Be happy."

Music, Movies, and Books

Pretty eclectic so there's seemingly no pattern but:

Corneille, Bob Marley, Black Eyed Peas, Chopin, Ed Solo and Skool of Thought, Hilltop Hoods, the Herd, Jurassic 5, Eyedea and Abilities, Shwayze, Jack Johnson, Beethoven, Mozart, Bonobo, Mac Miller, Boards of Canada, CAKE, Hopsin, David Guetta, Inna, Swedish House Mafia, DeadMau5, Daft Punk, Rise Against, Slash, Dragonforce, Metric, Elliot Smith

But at a party really almost anything with a good beat will do.

Books:
How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci by Michael J. Gelb; Poker Without Cards by Ben Mack; Destructive Emotions by Ben Goldman, the Dalai Lama; Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut; Taipan by James Clavell; Notes from the Underground by Dostoyevsky; The Stranger by Camus

Feynman, Hemingway, Dostoyevsky

Movies:
Snatch, Boondock Saints, 300, Gladiator, Inglorious Basterds, Hot Fuzz, Defiance, Office Space, INTO THE WILD.

Although I'm told I'm terribly inexperienced. And to me movies are generally a last resort to alleviate boredom.

Sleeping on the floor of an open air mountain-top buddhist temple to watch the sunrise.
