ABOUT ME

All of those lines below are 10 years old :-) (from 2009) - but now (2019), I again live in Bremen :-). Happy to host again... Character shouldn't have changed that much either... ;-)

Growing up in Germany, I travelled quite a bit since I turned 18. And, travelling still is my greatest passion...
During my studies, I extensively travelled Asia and moved to the Netherlands (which is a great place to live btw). Some more studying (marine biology), and travelling, and working in bars of course...:-) Stayed there until September 2009. Unfortunately, it was difficult to find work. Currently, I am living in Bremen and partly on Curacao (Dutch Antilles), doing a PhD on coral reefs.
As the times of loooong travels are pretty much over (for the moment at least), I will become Ryan Air's best friend and hopefully I will enjoy many long weekends in fabulous Eastern european, scandinavian and portugese cities...!!!! :-)
Personally, I like to smile, make jokes, laugh (also about myself), share food, share drinks, I am able to take naps in the most unusual situations, I love overnight flights, sitting in cafes in "new" cities looking at its citizens and soaking up the atmosphere. And, I would say I am addicted to "new food". Luckily, it doesn't show yet... but I love to try all kind of foods :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived on peanut butter on a Himalayan pass, swam with Dugongs in Indonesia, and currently I am having a great cappucino every morning when I open my door and step into the bistro on the opposite side of the street :-)
