ABOUT ME

I started traveling shortly after finishing high school. 36 states over 2 years via hitchhiking, freight trains, lots of walking,the sofa circuit, and lots of very kind folks along the way. Since then I've been to 49 states and a bunch of other countries and intend to continue exploring. I enjoy meeting people, making new friends, and sharing stories. I also enjoy spontaneous fun. Couch surfing is kind of like hitchhiking because its random. Its like the lottery, or a box of chocolates cause you never know what you're going to get. You never know you just might meet the coolest person you've ever met I always wear black socks. I LOVE food! I like building/fixing things. I'm not into computers or fancy phone apps too much, I'm a springs and gears kind of person. I'm not into fancy cars with excessively loud stereos and giant wheels, if it doesn't fly it doesn't impress me.

PHILOSOPHY

I LIKE TO HAVE FUN......its a very important part of life. Anything that is even slightly fun is fine with me, especially if its free, scary, dangerous, loud, fast or really neat.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm know that this means of traveling is alot more comfortable than under bridges, on trains, sleeping bags in the rain or wasting money on hotels. So my door is open to those passing through or visiting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lots of times through this site, but I have a master's degree in couch surfing and camping from previous experience before this nifty site came along.

Interests

Airplanes, anything outside, especially if mud is involved, mountain biking, white water rafting, and I do enjoy a good rum drink.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds. Everything I haven't seen or heard yet. I do enjoy foreign movies, especially French. I love all types of music. All of it! I don't read books much, I suppose I should. When I do read it's normally textbooks, I enjoy learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working on writing a book about my experiences traveling. I go on a medical mission(non-religious affiliated) every year to Dominican Republic. I do a variety of random things there, everything from moving patients to fetching ink pens

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything about any kind of flying machines, bicycles, raising a ruckus, and having way too much fun. I have been trying to learn french but I don't have much time to dedicate to learning.
