ABOUT ME

I enjoy taking life easy. I love branching out and trying new things. My main goal is to create good friendships. Making new friends and making old ones stronger is the main reason I participate in a lot of outdoor activities. I like to participate in leisure activities as well, I never really master any of them (hard to do in Bend, Oregon where there is so much to do). A few of the recreational activities I enjoy are: Rock climbing, biking, hiking, backpacking, mountaineering, rafting, swimming. When I don't have time for recreation, I like to hang out in the local tea house to converse with people and read. I do a lot of reading. I read fictional adventure books, philosophy, educational, and books for school. In the evenings it is nice to go out and get a brew with a couple of friends and play some pool or shuffle board.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to love God and to love my neighbor. To create and reinforce relationship with people. I am here to love and not hate. To love the people that others hate. To build up and strengthen everyone around me. I want to bring joy into peoples lives through love, compassion, comedy, selflessness.

Why waste a good floor or couch and make someone pay for a hotel room? Why miss out on all the new people you will meet?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been roommates with people who have hosted couch surfers and it has only been positive! Most of my life I have been a local couch surfer, but all through friends not online.

Movies: Avengers, Braveheart, Willow, Star Wars Trilogy, Boondock Saints, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Berry Gordy's Last Dragon, Big Trouble in Little China, Matrix 1, Equilibrium, Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

Books: The Wheel of Time series(11 books so far, the 12th to come in 3 different volumes :-P), Disappointment with God, Radical Revolution, Book of the 5 rings, The Art of War, Harry Potter series, LOTR, Shawshank Redemption, ohh man so many others I can't think of at the moment.

Music: I enjoy a great deal of music. Lately i have been on a Jurassic 5 and Postal Service kick... but I generally enjoy ska, punk, and 90's alternative.

I would love to learn in all these area and much much more. I love to learn, and I have yet to meet someone who has not taught me something! Come teach me!
