CURRENT MISSION

Travel as much of Africa as possible before we're old and decrepit! We want to do as many crazy things along the way as we can...see everything, hear everything and smell everything.

ABOUT ME

We are 2 girls who have been friends for a long time, and have the same sense of humour...therefore we are perfect travelling companions. We may seem a bit quiet at first but once you get to know us you'll soon learn how crazy we are! We have had the same travelling experiences so on the way we've come across the type of characters we don't like so much - grumpy/selfish/rude people.
We are quite compassionate and like to put others first, which can work against us as we never make decisions, in case we offend anyone.
(We've just read this through and it may come across that we are 'partners' - just to make it clear, we are NOT. Just friends (not that we have anything against same sex relationships):D)

PHILOSOPHY

Amy - to get as much out of life as possible whilst helping others e.g. coservation, learning about other cultures and ways of life so I can get a better aspect of what's important in life!

Emily - live life to the fullest while I still can!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are new to CS, so have not had any opportunities to get involved yet, although we look forward to becoming a more integral part of the worldwide CS community

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have not surfed yet, but have met others who have opened our eyes to the project that is COUCH SURFING!

Interessi

Outdoor activities...anything fun and adrenaline based - always happy to try something new!
Horse riding, cycling, dog walking, caving.
Socialising with friends - whether it be out in town or chilling at home - and meeting new people.
(bearing in mind we're talking for 2 people here so thought we'd keep it brief)

Tips for travelling -
It's always useful to try learning the language of the place you're visiting (at least the basics).
When we went to Ethiopia we tried to learn as much as we could which seemed to make us more approachable and people enjoyed listening to our often feeble attempts.
