Overview
About Me
I studied Environmental Engineering in Germany and stayed several times abroad.
I was working for a German international cooperation organization in the field of renewable energy in Bangkok for 2,5 years and moved back to Germany to do my PhD and specialise more in rural electrification approaches.
I think I am a friendly and open minded person who wants to get in touch with people and other cultures. I like to hike, to be in nature in general and sometimes to party. Hanging out with friends, cook nice (vegetarian) food, drink coffee or tea, is perfect for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participated in a lot of couchsurfing bbqs and hiking trips in Santiago de Chile and it was a really great experience and easy to find friends.
While traveling in South America I always tried to find hosts and I had some really great ones :)
So now I am couchsurfing whenever it is possible. There are so many interesting people to get to know and so many stories to hear and tell!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with some really great hosts in Chile and Argentina. I really enjoyed these experiences and it gave me a better understanding of some cultural aspects.
In Germany I hosted some couchsurfers as well and I hope there will be some more ;)
Well and I did a lot of "non official" couchsurfing, knowing friends who know somebody...
Interests
I like hiking, to have loooong breakfasts with friends (if the weather is great outside), to go jogging and I really love the sun!
I go by bike whenever it is possible (bikes are the best!), I enjoy strolling around flea markets and love (good) street art. I love colourful places, people, souls, music, ...
