ABOUT ME

I don't really like to talk about myself, but I guess I'll write a little blurb for whomever's interested in reading it. I consider myself a citizen of the world, having lived in seven countries in my 29 years on this planet. I speak 4 languages, love meeting new people from all walks of a life, and trying new things. I love traveling and can't be in one place too long.

For now, I'm living in England. I moved here to be close to my son who was born November 14th almost two years ago now.

I am a huge food lover with sushi being my favorite. I love to cook too and I'm always experimenting with different spices, and fruits, and veggies, and methods. I would try almost any foods, even live scorpions on a stick (heard it was a Chinese thing), or octopus, or something similar to that. Don't know about monkey brains, but I guess it could be tasty. Try everything once I say. What can't kill only makes you stronger right?

This is not just with food but with everything. I live to experience it all, and love doing adventurous things. I want to look back 50 years from now and say I did it all you know, and be able to have great stories to tell my kids, and grandkids.

I'm very open and honest, so anything you'd like to know, ASK!

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy, be meaningful, and do what you love. Respect your family and friends, and be open and honest. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone once in awhile, and always, above all, live life to the fullest (sounds trite but it's true). Go with your gut, instincts, etc...live impulsively, take chances, and seize the day!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up a long time ago but never did any couch hosting as I was living with my parents, but now as I live with other young professionals who are never around during the day, and down for meeting new people, then able to host with no problem...I have a few couches you could crash on, and lots of time at the moment to show you around and go to sightsee. Even when I start working, my nights will be available, as well as weekends.

I have stayed at hostels way too much, and looking to try couchsurfing to meet people in a different way, also to save a little dinero if you know what I mean!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I have done many amazing things in my lifetime, but I guess the most recent thing I'll mention is that for six months in 2011 I volunteered at a small town in Vietnam and was the only volunteer/foreigner living there. I was on my own surrounded by the culture and life, teaching English at pharmaceutical college in Phu Tho, a town a little bit outside of Hanoi. It was very memorable and still speak to some of the students and staff from the school. I recommend it to everyone.
