Overview
About Me
Born in London in 1988 and have been happy to be alive ever since! I love: camping, drinking wine, great books and poetry, seeing the world, meeting exciting new people, philosophy and trying to figure out why the world is how it is (impossible I know ;) ).
A couple of tips if you're requesting to stay:
- please personalise your request so I know why you want to stay with me and my partner Keith
- 2-3 days is the maximum time
- it's great when people have also done some hosting
- if you're new to couch surfing try and get some references by hosting or by meeting couch hosts in your area - we usually do not host people without references
- tell us about your trip!
PHILOSOPHY
I was watching this Bollywood film in Delhi and one of the characters says 'the biggest risk in life is to take no risks at all...' That feels true to me. The other message I live by --- 'Everything in moderation... Including moderation.'
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I go to another country, I love surfing as I've met so many great people through CS. When I'm able to offer a bed, I love hosting people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I became a member in 2009 and have couchsurfed in Texas, Mexico, Italy, Malawi, Zambia, India, Colombia, Israel/Palestine, Tanzania, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria with some amazing hosts. I have hosted some excellent people in London and the West Bank. I like the trust involved and the sense of adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything by Herman Hesse to read. The film would have to be Badlands by Terence Malick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have quite a few favourite memories. Getting caught in a thunderstorm in the Sierra Madre mountains in Mexico. It was like the end of the world. Building a natural sauna in Yorkshire with hazel branches and leaves, using rocks heated in the fire for a whole day. We sat in the sauna and sang for hours, then jumped in the river. Dancing all night in a shady as hell night club in Malawi, Chez Ntembe... That was an experience!
