Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Look at my references, some of them are very explicit about my way to participate :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Awesome. Well, there was that one time when... ah, forget about it

Interests

Travel, travel, travel; meet and know new people and cultures. Discussion about politics, social matters. Cinema. Good food, wine, beer, spirits. I love the countryside, I grew up out of the city. I love hiking on mountains, walking through forests, swim in the open Sea, especially by night and when the weather allows it... and many other things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Tons of movies, I worked for film festivals in the past!... Here's one that I like and is free on Youtube, if you don't know what to do tonight:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9rnyCyLFtE

My music taste is constantly changing from Indie Rock to Italian 70s-80s "cantautori", from folk and jazz to electronic and whatever else do I know is coming next...

However, I never get tired of Brian Jonestown Massacre's "Give It Back" album. It's a perfect mix of all the music genres that can touch me. A true masterpiece to me (although I must acknolewdge my ignorance in musical matters)

As for books, I like stories that make me travel in time & space without moving from my couch. I tend to like a lot historic novels mixing real documented facts and fictional characters / facts(examples: Diderot's Jacques le Fataliste, Amin Maalouf's Samarcande, to some extent Life of Pi,...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A lot and still a lot to be seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't teach a lot but am a great conversationist if properly inspired, and am awaiting the same from you :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
