ABOUT ME

I'm Jane, I was born in Timaru which is in the south Island of New Zealand. Since then I have moved around alot, but I'd call a small town on the east coast of the North Island, Maraetai home. I still have the same best friends that I have had since I was 7 years old even though we live far apart. My family is really important to me, my sister and I are really close. I recently graduated from University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and I am very ready to see the world. Australia is going to be my starting point very very soon! Although I'm going to miss my dog Templeton like crazy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only joined CS recently but so far have had 3 people come to stay with me. All have been really interesting watching people becoming familiar with the unfamiliar! And learning about other people's countries has been fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies are: American Beauty, Fight Club, Into the Wild, Death Proof actually all Quentin Tarantino movies are awesome! Too many to list! But can't forget the Lion King.
Favorite music: Smashing Pumpkins, Queens of the Stone age, Nirvana, Hole, Kings of Leon, The Datsuns, Alice in Chains, TOOL, A perfect circle, Rage against the Machine, Peaches, The Mint Chicks, Led Zepp, Kyuss way way to much to list much more! My fav song of the moment is Black Ballon by the Kills.
Books: Anne Rice, I am very ashamed to say that I love Mills and Boon, am currently reading Star Struck by Pamela Anderson (I couldn't resist after she came to NZ for fashion week) and I wrote 2 books myself which I have to say I'm pretty proud of :) 34 Homes, 23 Years and Do Mermaids Get Scared?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got a degree after leaving school at 15 to do hairdressing so pretty much turned my life around with a bit of hard work, pretty pleased with that :)
I did a shark dive which I thought was pretty amazing (sharks scare me shitless) but even the whole first diving experience was amazing, being able to breath underwater is the best feeling ever!
