About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figure out my mission!

ABOUT ME

Just a common man, majored in economics, now studying psychology, who loves to have fun and laugh. I'm a very friendly,easy-going and open-minded person, probably the calmer guy you'll ever meet. If,somehow, you find yourself in Rio de Janeiro, it'll be my pleasure to show you around, all I can promise is a lot of fun and a great time.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophically speaking, it's hard to philosophize about philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Making you feel as home and as confortable as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already hosted and was hosted using couchsurfing, been away for a few years, and now, hopefully making my glorious comeback to this wonderful community.

Interests

Drink beer and talk to as much People I can. I'm the host of my own drunk talk show.

I love sports, to watch and play(even though I can be really bad at some.... most) and love music, tried playing a lot of different instruments, but unfortunatelly I don't have the motor coordination to do so. The closer I can get to make sound out of something is by ringing a bell, and still, in a poorly way. I might be a transmusical, a mind of a grat musician trapped in a decaying inept body.
I would say that I also like to learn about everything and everyone and becouse of that I read a lot. From poorly designed cliche sentences tattoos on your wrist, to bio-intergalactical laws written in cuneiform.
Well, sure, I might have made up that, but I do definitely read your wrist tattoo. And you get it, I like to read in general.
Have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed for not finding any real research on why we only loose one sock of the pair intead of loosing both socks ir not loosing any.

Woah! Shit! That sounded depressingly honest. I'm going to elucidate that now in more colorful words:
I love travelling, to cook, to laugh and make laugh, photography, music, tea, coffee, chocolate, beer, philosophy, history but also stories, hammocks, procrastination, learning and listening to different languages, well in essence I love any aspects of our human condition and anything that makes us equally different (whatever that means)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love almost all kinds of music! Mostly I prefer 60's and 70's rock, a lot of progressive rock as well as jazz, blues and classical music. It all depends on my mood and state of mind.
The same thing applies to movies, I can watch anything, specially the classics and psychological thrillers (big fan of David Lynch). If we were to use a pretencious fancy word, one might say that I'm a cinephile.
I'm always reading and always surrounded by books. I simply adore classical literature, from the early greek and latin epics to some postmodern literature like Palahniuk, and all in between, specially philosophical literature, as you can see here goodreads.com/alexandreminsky

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Depending on the food (barbecue), I can eat it for 8 hours straight.... I know, I know, pretty impressive!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hope to learn a bit about everything, about every different culture and about every different country, and also, if it's possible something about your language, some useful(or useless) sentences. I Can help with some portuguese lessons and teaching something about Brazil, specially Rio de Janeiro.
I can also teach you a bit about everything, since I have a special degree in useless culture.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay
