ABOUT ME

I'm an urban adventurer based in Brooklyn, New York City. My biggest passions are traveling and collecting wonderful new friends along the way. I'm involved in Burning Man and participatory arts culture in New York. I love good food and wine, hiking and outdoor sports, dancing and music. I love to travel to festivals and world-class parties. I've met many wonderful friends while traveling, and I love to keep in touch and show them around my hometown New York City!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm dedicated to freedom and living without fear. I quit my traditionally successful but unsatisfying lawyer job a few years ago to pursue ways to make money while actually finding meaning and fulfillment in how I spend my days. I'm passionate about living for my purpose of defending and supporting personal growth, healing, freedom in the people around me, and I've actually found a way to get paid for it somehow! I feel incredibly blessed by my career and my community of amazing folks. I'm dedicated to living my life without dependence on capitalism and shopping. I love meeting new people and always being open to meeting new kindred spirits!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm involved in producing participatory arts events with no spectators and 100% participation. I've always hosted lots of new friends and I love showing them around New York- but I am very busy so my time for showing around new friends is limited. I'm totally supportive of less consumerism and more connections between individuals!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in a women's collective in Brooklyn called Lady Tiger House/Boring Incorporated. There were always random folks from all over the country showing up. I loved being a matriarch there and finding ways for everyone to contribute and feel a sense of home right away. I love communal living!

兴趣

I love making my own clothes and finding a way to be a creator rather than a consumer. I love dancing to house and trip hop and hip hop. I'm passionate about helping people open their minds about relationship options and enhance healthy communication. I love exploring underground and sex-positive culture in the cities I'm in.

I've traveled Europe via couches and ended up in grand adventures, most recently dancing and meditating on the Stone Henge stones for Summer Solstice!

I'm an educator and relationship coach about open relationships and can give you a world-class tutorial on how to have happier relationships. I can connect you to civil rights legal resources, or alternately the Burning Man community, or the community of intentional communities and collective living!!
