About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live in a new tonal reality..... positively
ABOUT ME
I am an ethnically mixed up proud Scot. I busy myself with music, tea serving and working with people from diverse backgrounds as an interpreter. I am trying to get the most out of life through being independent but often find there is not enough time to do all the things I want to do. Currenly am studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland thereby reducing my free time further however I am happy to accept requests if I have the time.
Recently I moved flat to the south side of Glasgow, which is still accessible by bus. For the last year (up to December 2012) I haven't been able to host, but I intend to start again.
I like whisky (but only really good stuff) reading, music and socialising and I really like going out into the great - if rainy - outdoors to find peace of mind.
What else... well you'll have to talk to me to find out.
Please, if you are applying to stay, read a wee bit of my profile. If for whatever reason I cannot host you, I wish you good luck and great travels!!!!
PHILOSOPHY
to treat others with the respect you expect to be treated with
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted many many people in the past, who I found very interesting and some of whom have become very good friends. I have not been a guest so much, but I was lucky enough to get to go to Paris last year and couch surf in Mumbai twice.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Host host host, and a little bit of surfing. One time I triple booked couch surfers in my last flat by mistake, but somehow everyone seemed to squeeze in (about 5 couch surfers plus me my flat mate and a cat). Whilst all the places I surfed at were really amazing, the time I spent in Paris at JPs was really special, overlooking the centre of the city.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love really long epic films, into Herman Hesse and bit of Russian classics. Music-wise. To be honest the list is so massive I will have to be brief and say I like most things that are genuine, original and has feeling, or can be danced to without feeling a bit self-concious. Throw in someone from Jazz, Funk, Afro-beat, India classical, Nu-Punk, Gypsie, DrumnBass, Classical, Baroque, Rennaissance, Scottish folk, hip-hop, electronica, dubstep, reggae, opera, experimental clicking fingers and tapping toes and I will probably like it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got lost in the Himalayas for 3 days. Scary.
Sky dived - you should try it if you haven't
Seen a soldier and a nun holding hands.
Have been living in Glasgow for a long time - now that's something to see do and survive!
Teach, Learn, Share
There is so much to learn in life that it does one ever really stop? I have experienced allot of different people from diverse backgrounds and allot of crazy but interesting situations and am willing to talk about them to open ears.
