Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making sure I'm not taking life too seriously.
ABOUT ME
Super easy going. The idea of couch surfing is what I am all about. Looking out for your fellow wanderers and they'll look out for you when it comes your time. Just being respectful and considerate is all that is really needed.
I love traveling and wonder if there will ever come a point in my life where I am not planning my next trip. I love learning about the diversity of life, and the commonalities that tie even the most different of people together. I like to hear people's stories and learn from them. I am working on my spiritual side and trying to work more time into the daily grind for meditation and self-reflection. Constantly curious about and amazed by the world we live in and the mysteries of our existence.
I am currently attending medical school at the University of Michigan.
PHILOSOPHY
Buddhist proclivities... Try to rest in beginner's mind. Practice non-attachment. Believe in basic goodness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently live in a house with four other guys . Everyone is friendly, but since we're all med students and about to start clinical rotations, we have to play hosting by ear.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed with about ten hosts so far in the states, and I have been completely blown away at each and every experience. People of all different ages, all different backgrounds, etc., yet all among the kindest and most interesting people I've ever met. THIS SITE IS THE BOMB.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A 10-week road trip across the US and back... Thanks to friends, family, and CS, we did not stay in a single hotel or hostel!
Road trip / pow chase in Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, and France.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach/share:
I love language, and might be able to teach some English, French, Spanish or Portuguese. Always down to shoot the shit on issues related to food, health, and environment. Happy to share cooking and fermentation 'skills' - all I know comes from trial, error, love and luck. I could also teach how to tie shoes (over, under, around and through / meet Mr. Bunny Rabbit, pull and through).
Learn/share:
Languages, especially Arabic, Mandarin, or Italian. I love to learn about different philosophies - secular, religious, or whatever. Also, plant/fungi foraging skills, and all kinds of cooking, fermenting and other food prep!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Depending on the situation and the host, I like to cook as a gesture of appreciation. Even been known to do dishes for fun on occasion.
