ABOUT ME

I am an extremely curious person. I love experiencing other cultures.

There is so much I want to do but so little time to do all of them! I want to be a rockstar, an artist, learn how to draw and paint, I want to live a carefree life, sail across oceans, motorcycle-tour the world, learn a bunch of sports, speak more languages, become a good economist, do yoga, be a published writer, read/watch all the books/movies that interest me, etc etc etc

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest! I'm only young once, so if there is anything I want to do, I should do it now. Experience everything (at least) once.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted 6 or 7 couchsurfers in my cozy amsterdam place. Everyone has been amazing! Also hosted many friends of friends in Barcelona and I will continue to do so when I'm back from my travels.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

served in the military for 2.5 years

busked in the snow during christmas period, and it was snowing heavily in Amsterdam. I went out to sing some carols on a street corner to spread some festive cheer :) it was freezing but the joy that came from seeing people smile was worth it (not to mention it paid for my dinner and wine).

Surfing in Spain, Indonesia and Portugal, Muay Thai in Thailand, traveled from south Vietnam to north Vietnam by train alone, inspired by a book of Paul Theroux.

Too many other things to say: Living and working in East Africa was amazing, hitchhiking across Europe, living in Spain and taking part in its festivals and cultural events, I can't begin to list them all.
