ABOUT ME

We got home from our second longer trip in May 2015 and are settling back in to Brighton life. We are trying to set up our own businesses (a brewery and an upcycling business) but in the meantime Paul is gardening and Kristina works in a nursery supporting a child with special needs.

When we have a flat and are not travelling we can live vicariously through the wonderful people we get to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Across Canada, USA, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Australia and many parts of Asia we were hosted by some truly amazing people who we hope to stay in contact with for many years to come! Hosted in Brighton, Hamburg and Brisbane and will put our couch up as soon as we have one again.

Interests

Friends, family, music, films, watching practically all sport (Paul), vegan food, sustainable living, socialising in general, cycling, yoga, learning Spanish and German, getting into fermentation (sauerkraut, kimchi, ginger beer), shipping container homes, meeting new people and of course travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: between us we cover pretty much all genres except dance/club music.
Films and books: again we are very open and read books/watch films from all over the world. Some favourite films for example include: The Big Lebowski, Life is Beautiful, Pan's Labyrinth, Napoleon Dynamite, Submarine, Boy, Boyhood, Shaun of the Dead, I am, Cowspiracy, The Hunt and Fargo.

And books: Yes Man, The Road, To Kill A Mockingbird, Brighton Rock, Anstaendig Essen, Everything is Illuminated, The Count Of Monte Cristo, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and many more that don't spring to mind right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our world trip was full of amazing moments and it is too hard to chose just one thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being part German I can teach you all there is to know about the musical wonders that David Hasselhoff has to offer! Do we really worship him or is this just a rumour spread to discredit us Germans?

Other topics we might be able to help with are: the rules of rugby union, building your own composter and how to survive riding the greyhound bus around America for 3 whole months.

Interested in learning about anything and everything. There is so much we don't know about yet. Enlighten us please.
