About Me

[PLEASE READ MY PROFILE THOROUGHLY BEFORE YOU SEND ME A REQUEST/MESSAGE. READ EVERYTHING (ABOUT/MY HOME) AND IF YOU WANT ME TO RESPOND TO YOU, PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THAT I POSE AT THE END]

ABOUT ME

Quit my job in Dec 2011 and been almost unemployed ever since. No regrets there though. Travelled around India on a motorbike for months and then travelled without motorbike some more.

In July 2014, I arrived in Vietnam and over a period of month and half or so made my way up to Hanoi and found a few teaching gigs and decided to settle down here for sometime. I stayed there until May 2016 and it was some the best times in my life.

Also have a travel blog - www.indiabackpackmotorbike.com. Alert: Haven't blogged in quite a while but will soon do.

Awareness. Sensitivity. Grace. Gratitude. These four words pretty well sum up my philosophy and every thought that I ponder, every action I do, every moment I live, I question myself if I am living by these.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Vietnam has been the place that I actively participated in CS, be it surfing peoples couches, hanging out with CSers sipping 'ca phe sua da' or building some lifelong relationships.

Truthfully speaking, I wasn't very active CSer before coming here, but I've now resolved to be more participative.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I mentioned above, I wasn't an active CSer for the first few years I was on this forum. I just hosted once and then met a few people here and there on my travels. But that was it until I almost forgot I was a part of CS.

But when I flew into Vietnam I decided to give it a try once again and have made some amazing friendships. I will most gladly say that I've really enjoyed the people I met through CS and they've all been very warm, welcoming and more than willing to go out of the way for each other. These people have now inspired me and I've promised myself to be a more active.
