About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the most of this fantastic life, enjoy every moment, meet new people, have adventures, love our beautiful planet and hopefully do some good along the way

ABOUT ME

I'm full of energy, happy and sociable. Passionate about my work and sustainable living in general. I love being outdoors doing stuff in nature, walking, wild swimming, wildlife watching and photography. Also love dancing, meeting new people, seeing new places, good conversations, cooking, laughing, exploring ...etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Make the most of your one wild and precious life. Eat drink and be merry. Live in the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the whole concept of couchsurfing and have had some great experiences with it. I live in a really beautiful place, in the Highlands of Scotland and enjoy showing people this fantastic place. I also live just up the road from the Findhorn Foundation spiritual community and ecovillage. I think couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet interesting people and get the local info about new places rather than stay in soul-less hotels and hostels. I'm a good guest and will always respect other people's homes. I'm also a great host and really enjoy having people to stay and looking after them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've had quite a few people come and stay with me and I've surfed a bit in the UK and the USA. I've really enjoyed all my couchsurfing experiences so far, both hosting and surfing and have made some new friends. Looking forward to meeting lots more wonderful folks over the next few months as my fiancé and I are planning on travelling and teaching across Europe and the USA from March 2017 until October. .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aww come on, life is rich, I want more than one :)
Seen over 15 species of whales and dolphins. Snorkelled on my own at 6am with an huge and ancient sea turtle in Hawaii. Started my own Ecotourism business. Found my soul mate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a dolphin expert! I worked with them for 5 years. I also know a lot about other marine animals. I'm a qualified tour guide. I know all the best places to visit around me :o). I'm very interested in environmental issues and sustainability. I'm a great cook. Always happy to share any knowledge or skills I hold.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company and good conversation. Songs, stories and games. Friendly open hearted nature. Lots of different skills and knowledge: love to cook for people, can teach basic beekeeping, run various training courses on many interesting issues, particularly sustainability based.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Egypt, France, Iceland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain
