CURRENT MISSION

I'll be spending this next year in Vigo, Spain teaching English at a local elementary school. Most importantly, I'll be enjoying the culture and learning the ways of NW Spain!

ABOUT ME

For the last year I've been obsessed with food. I want to eat and cook everything and now I'll be spending a year in Galicia and my heart quickens when I think about all the delicious seafood and wine I'll be trying! While I'll be working a bit, as well, I really can't wait to discover new foods and test out my cooking skills.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm really interested in international writers: most of what I read comes from German, Japanese, Czech, Russian writers. Though now that I have a kindle I've been reading some American/British classics more... Henry James, Edith Wharton, Charles Dickens.

Like my preferences for certain international books, my musical taste is also worldwide. I like French music, Spanish love songs, reggaeton, Brit pop... the Talking Heads, Kate Bush, sweet indie pop and electronic... anything really. I prefer listening to music than talking about it.

I love movies: from classics to experimental to rom-coms. Recently have shifted my attention to TV, however: Mad Men, the Wire, Arrested Development, etc.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I ran from a group of football hooligans, they forced us off the U-Bahn station and onto the train tracks, we had to jump the fence to get to safety! Fight or flight, my friend, and i chose flight. haha.
