Music, Movies, and Books

italian literature
Poesia in genere,
travel literature, which relaxes me and makes me dream, and plan the next trip.
love the movies and the open air cinemas, in the summertime!
Love Fatix Akin's films, so i've seen all his movies,
i first saw "head on", a revelation! and then "crossing the bridge", the music crossroads of istanbul, and then "auf der underen seite"
and this year I saw his latest "the soul kitchen"
"The wave"
"The kite runner"
"Rachel getting married"
"The dark knight", the meanest of the meanest
"Milk"
"Vicky Cristina Barcelona" for the sexy atmosphere
"Doubt", for the always extraordinary Hoffman, i love him
"Broke back mountain"
"Himalaya"
"Frantic" for the awesome song of Grace Jones, and of course the love affair the main theme of the moovie
"Before sunset"
"The King's speech"
"il Mar Nero"
"La casa sulle nuvole"
"Extremely loud, incredibly close" for not being the hollywood type film I expected to be

Mostly all the Iranian films for the sweetness and the humanity of the simple yet strong stories and the stunning performances!
And many many more that i can't recall right now!

Music is synonymous to our existence, to our expression , define our lives and this show us it's importance!
I love Nina Simone, African music, and almost any genre of music, that can touch my soul

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyday is a new experience, Every time that I go out with my friends is an amazing experience, and every time that I meet new people is an amazing experience! Ha ha! Besides that, there is,
Living for a month a Perugia, one of the most beautiful italian cities!
Having a caffe'and enjoy the view in Santorini,
Seeing the volcano in Nisiros,
Traveling with the sailing boat, with strong winds up to 40knots south of Amorgos
Visiting Levitha a tiny island with a secure port,(when we left the island we realized and appreciated it!) in the midle of nowhere, where there is only one family, farmers, and shepherds, only men, (the wives live in another island where there is school for the children), who gave us something to eat and drink in their mini taverna, before continuing for coming home to Paros.
20 hours train trip to Serbia, on the balcan express,
Visiting Cinque Terre in Italia,
Having the best spaghetti della laguna, spaghetti con frutti di mare, a Venezia, semplicemente ottimi!
Crossing the borders of Albania and entering the "national road" or path, really dangerous.
Hearing the last evening call from the moschee in Istanbul, and having a turkish bath at Cemberlitas! ouaou!
Meeting the true cretan people at Anogia, up in the mountains,
Visiting Mani! the wild wild west of Greece!
