Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of now, I have couched surfed twice and to this day thought they were the highlight of my Japan trip. As well upon my past travels I have been welcomed in to some amazing locals homes and offered to stay a night or two. Those were very memorable parts of my trip. Learning first hand about cultures, their life, and experience they have while sharing all I can with them. Just from the short stays I have had with these families, I was able to learn so much about them and give them a taste of what life is for me as a Canadian.

Interests

I work a lot, so I very much treasure my free time. When I am home I try to spend as much of my time with my loved ones and friends as I can, it could be anything from grabbing a pint, going to the mall, or going on a hike. I also enjoy hermitting in once in a while: reading a good book, catching up on Imgur, or watching a good movie.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always love to dive into a good novel, it could be anything from Douglas Adam's Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, JK Rowling's Harry Potter, Jodi Picoult's Vanishing Acts, Chris Hadfield An Astronaut's guide to life or S.J Watson's Before I go to Sleep.
Movies are also something I enjoy to fall asleep to, my favorite by far is Shaw shank redemption, followed closely by the One Who Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest or really anything from Clint Eastwood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've once sailed an intense 300 mile race across lake Ontario, yes that is 300 miles stuck on a boat, which equals out to two and a half days of pure sailing.
