About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To squeeze every drop out of life and have many great experiences.

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun easy going person who has a love for life and the magic in the world. Connecting with people and with nature is where i get most of my energy from. I'm always up for a new challenge or experience and love the great out doors. It's where i feel most natural and at home. I also have a great passion for art /creating and health /healing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I haven't really contributed to the Couch Surfing community. However I look forward to hosting people when I'm back in Melbourne. I love meeting travellers and have already shown a lot of people a side of Melbourne that they would have missed. Warehouse parties, gypsy music gigs under bridges, Art projects/ backyard circuses and the festivals scene. I love the idea of the CS community, people helping each other out and sharing experiences. I Look forward to being more involved when i finish my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few couches in my time and also hosted some travellers but not through this site yet. One great experience i had was traveeling up the east coast of Australia I made friends with an Irish bloke named Ciaran in Byron Bay and gave him a lift to Brisbane because he was out of cash and he had some Aussie friends in Brisbane. Ciaran and I ended up sharing there bassment for a couple of weeks before they moved out and we all ended up moving in to a new place together. The 4 of us ended up living together for 5 months or so. Amazing times, friends i will have forever.

Interests

I'm really interested in communal living. Ultimately i would love to live on a self sustainable eco-friendly farm with a bunch of people and grow food with a permaculture system. Use renewable energys and recycled materials to build houses.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love books by Tom Robins like 'Even Cowgirls get the Blues', and 'Still life with the Woodpecker'. The way he goes off on tangents and the way he writes is brillant. Paulo Coleho is another one of my favourite authors 'the Alchemist', 'Witch of Portabello', he has such strong yet simple messages in his books. I also liked the celestine prophecy and the tenth insight by James Redfield.

Music is difficult. I love heaps of different music. As long as i can move and flow to it, its great by me. Gypsy, Folk, Reggae, Dub, Psytrance, blues, roots, drum and bass, Drum circles and acoustic. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that comes to mind is Cliff diving from a 26 metre cliff into the ocean at Phi Phi Island in Thailand.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am great in the outdoors and could teach people how to start a camp fire using random things like a aa battery and a piece of steel wool or with sticks. I also love healing and have studied Massage. I'm always up for exchanging skills in different healing modalities.
