ABOUT ME

PLEASE NOTE: we live on the island of ALDERNEY!

We've been many places and done a few things over the last twenty-odd years, pretty much with a "once if you dare, twice if you like it" attitude. We moved to the top end of Scotland from the south coast of England after putting a pin in a road-map at 2am whilst drinking a bottle of red wine, and have now flitted down to the luscious island of ALDERNEY, kind of by accident (I wanted to go to the Maldives - it's a long story).

For those of brave enough and inventive enough to get here in the first place, our tiny home is yours to share.
We're new here and slowly finding our feet, so will be sharing those new experiences with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Now a lot more than zilch! We were busy with you lot up in Scotland and have enjoyed most of you, care deeply about a few of you, have been inspired to greater things by some of you, and been disappointed by the ways of a couple of you. I expect that's entirely reciprocated.

Interests

Apart from obviously wanting to keep a flow of people through our lives, our interests are mood- and weather-dependent.

Because we are new here, we don't know yet what we do apart from the fundamentals of lighting fires, playing music, walking about the island, cooking, eating, watching films, reading, talking, arguing, growing our own vegetables, making jams and chutneys, and sometimes doing all of the above at the same time.

We hope to pursue watery options with kayaks and a bit of sailing maybe, but all in good time.
