ABOUT ME

I'm an American guy who has lived in Washington for a few years (on and off due to grad school). Now, it's my home. I first joined this site when I moved to Guadeloupe(FWI) in 2009 for work. There, I had a great experience. Now that I am back home, I want to try again. I'm looking to meet people, to have real conversations and potentially meaningful friendships. Hopefully with someone who actually lives here too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've travelled quite a bit, and as a young person without loads of money, the hospitality of others is frequently necessary from a practical point of view. That said, the ability to talk to local people about local issues is what really makes the Couch Surfing Project interesting and valuable... I've been looking through this site for some time now and I'm finally doing it...
