ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and traveling. From 2005-2011, I moved about every 3 months to explore new areas and meet new people. I love change and I've found that by living in a new area for about 3 months, you can really get the feel of a place. I'm very happy! I love to laugh! I'm very easy going, down to earth and love adventure. I'm very active and love being outside. I started playing soccer when I was four and it is my favorite sport! I played on a traveling team from age 10-18. I love my soccer team! Those girls will always feel like family and I cherish all our great memories together. I have a lot of energy and love trying new things and being open minded. I'm very easily entertained! Live life to the fullest!

PHILOSOPHY

I love life! I try to live life to the fullest and do what makes me happy. Time is precious and we should be appreciative for everything we have. I believe that we should treat people the way we want to be treated. And there's no reason to ever be mean to another or treat someone poorly. Being nice is priceless and easy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love Couchsurfing! It has been a great way to meet new people and give back to the community. Staying with someone who lives in the area led me to visit new places and learn more about cultures.

I love being hostess to friends and family whenever they come visit. It's always fun to show them around and make sure they have a great time while visiting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed two times now- both were experiences were great! It was fun to talk about our love of travel and hear about their adventures. I'm sure our paths will cross again someday.

Interests

I love sports! Soccer, basketball, cross country, track, bad mitten, ping pong... I love music! I've been playing the flute for about 14 years now. I've played a little bit of oboe, saxophone, and keyboard. I love listening to all types of music. I love traveling - my travel bug keeps growing the more I travel! I love people! I love meeting new people. Everyone has something to offer and a story to tell. I love learning - I feel it is how we grow and write new chapters of our life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Backpacking Kauai with my younger brother and his friend from college in Fall 2011. We spent 8 days exploring Kauai - hiking, camping, hitchhiking, mingling with the locals and fellow tourists... absorbing every bit of culture we could while we were there. One of my best trips ever!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach card games. I love playing cards - pounce and rummy are some of my favorites. I can teach braiding hair - I love french braids. Juggling a soccer ball, playing soccer.
I would love to learn about cultures. I like hearing about where people are from and what it's like to live there.
