CURRENT MISSION
Finding a mission.
ABOUT ME
A box that's all about me, that's somewhat awkward. I'd like to think of myself as an easygoing, somewhat artistic and yet down-to-earth gal, but you'd have to ask the people I met to confirm this (or not). I love to share a meal, at whichever spot in whatever country. I could spend my days reading, sleeping, partying, sporting, writing or eating, and love to chat up, in company of a good beer. When traveling, I like to stay at one spot for a long while, and get to know it throughout. That is why I will be living in Madrid, UK and Japan (Tokyo) for the upcoming academic year. If couches are available at those spots, I will update my profile concurrently.
PHILOSOPHY
'Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast.' (Oscar Wilde)
'Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.' (Marilyn Monroe)
'If it tastes good, eat it.' (Nigella Lawson)
'Quienquiera que sea, siempre he confiado en la bondad de los desconocidos' (Todo sobre mi madre - Almodovar)
'There are no strangers here, only friends who have not yet met' (W.B. Yeats)
'Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.' (Samuel Beckett)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Actually, I am quite new to the CouchSurfing project, although my profile has been active over ages. Curious though as I am, here it is: feel free to roll up on my couch (or sleeping mat for that matter).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed some in Madrid, Scotland and England, and have always had great fun meeting the people.
In my experience, CouchSurfing is a great way to meet both locals when traveling and new friends when living somewhere. Defo pro!

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I absolutely adore Esquivel's "Como agua para chocolate", but I am mainly a try-outer more than an opion-giver. So bring it on, I can have a taste.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I ever did was teaching an indigenous girl of 12 years old how to swim.
Most amazing thing ever seen must have been the guerilla striders in San Cristóbal, Chiapas, gathered at a wedding all together: obsolete fun.
Also: my grandmother in a rollercoaster.
