About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travelling and cooking my way through Brazil & Colombia!
ABOUT ME
Chef, human rights student and traveller!
Most of my friends would probably describe me as a chef and a food lover always finding an excuse to throw a big dinner party no matter what day of the week. That is definitely true, I love to cook for the ones I care about and always have an extra plate ready in case anyone would drop by. I work on a small island called Koster on the west coast of Sweden. It's a beautiful place where we grow our own veggies in a lush garden where we have a small restaurant and serve food made with love and respect for the environment. Come visit!
But I am also a former Human Rights student, with a special interest in globalisation issues , fair trade and environmental challenges. I studied Human Rights at Malmö University in Sweden and my interest in this field began 10 years ago when I visited Africa for the first time.I travelled around Uganda and Rwanda, truly amazing countries that opened my eyes in so many ways. Meeting new cultures, learning about their history and making friends along the way is a blessing!
PHILOSOPHY
PURA VIDA! Live life to the fullest, take chances, learn a different language and surround yourself with people you love and laugh, eat delicious food and most importantly: dance!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Recently I saw "Orfeu Negro" a love story set in Rio around the 60's..loooved it! Other movies I really like are "Mullholland drive", "Cinema Paradiso", "Lost in Traslation"... and almost all movies made by Hitchcock, Bergman, Coppola, Fellini, and Scola :) Some of my favourite books; "How to kill a Mocking bird", "Io non ho paura","The god of small things","The man and the sea", "A thousand years of solitude"..and many many more! When it comes to music I prefere soul, pop and latin rythms...but I like most music, depending on the occasion.
